Jag är ganska kär i mitt eget diagram där i slutet, men jag undrade lite mer hur lång tid i timmar det kan ta, så jag bad ChatGPT att göra en uppskattning.
Enligt mina egna uppskattningar:
1A: 2,5 timmar
1B: 90 timmar
1C: 210 timmar
Fas 1 totalt: 302,5 timmar.
Så det var ju ganska likt. Kanske ChatGPT har ungefär rätt då.
Och här har vi en som efter 2200 timmar "can read and understand most novels, news articles, light novels [...] with effort ([looking up words in] Yomichan), able to understand the content - main plot, dialogues/monologues, and descriptions - with some details lost" och har "pretty much full comprehension of most Slice of Life anime while listening raw".
Matt (han i videon i förstainlägget) uppskattar visst att "5 hours per day would take more or less 2 years to reach fluency" vilket innebär 3650 timmar.
Och på Refold-bloggen var det en som beskrev sina egna erfarenheter:
"So it took about [...] (~500 hours) before I was able to work my way through an anime like Death Note (while watching with Japanese subtitles)" – 1,4 år @ 1h/d
"(~1000 hours total), I started reading [a light novel] volume per week (maybe reading ~1-2 hours per day)" – 2,7 år @ 1h/d
"(~2000 hours total) I was pretty comfortable watching most TV shows with JP subs and not needing to look much up" – 5,5 år @ 1h/d
"(~3000 hours) I started having conversations with actual Japanese people and found that I was able to just jump into having full conversations" – 8,2 år @ 1h/d
"After [...] (~4000 hours) I can pretty much read most modern light novels without too much difficulty (~1-3 unknown words per page) and can watch raw anime/YouTube videos or listen to podcasts and understand 98%+ the majority of the time." – 11,0 år @ 1h/d
Så 1250-1850 timmar för att komma till en bastant "hänga med i slice-of-life för vuxna"-nivå (hela fas 2) alltså. Det innebär 3,5-5,0 år om man snittar 1 timme/dag.
