Kina förbjuder diverse anime

After previously banning High School of the Dead, Blood-C, and Terror in Resonance, the People’s Republic of China has now added 38 new blacklisted anime and mangas, and it unfortunately include three of the biggest names in anime so far, Attack on Titan, Sword Art Online II, and Death Note.

The updated list also includes the three previously banned anime as these 38 titles are now banned from appearing in streaming sites in Japan. Because of this, another 29 streaming sites have been fined or given a warning while eight sites have been shut down for showing the these anime. Here is the updated list including the ones  previously announced:

The anime mentioned have been banned in China for “encouraging juvenile delinquency, glorify violence and include sexual content”. According to Liu Qiang, an official for China’s Ministry of Culture, these were banned to “Protect the development of youth in China”. He also added that these titles were reviewed and evaluated by official investigators from the ministry and they aim to guide websites in importing foreign comics and animation.

The online netizens of China however weren’t too happy with the new bans and calls the move “censorship” and have criticized the government for being “anti-Japanese”. These also come at a time when tensions are heightened between China and her neighbors, especially Japan, the Philippines, and Vietnam because of territorial disputes in the South China Sea.

Gäller det här även sidor som säljer dessa anime på DVD och Blu-ray? T.ex amazon, om någon i Kina köper en skiva på brittiska amazon, kommer den då konfiskeras på ngt sätt? Eller går det kanske inte att beställa den alls? 

 

Det här gällde ju streamingsidor, men vissa sidor som kickar arslen eller bukter där pirater finns, det finns ingen tillgång till de alls?

Har för mig att döskallar och skelett inte får vara med i spel och annat, och att spel som typ WoW och LoL har fått designa om innan det får spelas i Kina. Är lite osäker och orkar inte leta upp någon källa. :p Men då sticker ju Inferno Cop ut iaf. xD

:Jag (ett animefan) tar inte så illa upp pga att detta verkar mer anti-Japan (det är ju inte heller okej men jag kan inte tillräckligt mycket om deras konflikt för att grunda min åsikt på fakta) än vad det verkar anti-anime.

De använder "citat 1" som public reasoning för att banna anime men "citat 2" är den egentliga anledningen, att de vill att den inhemska marknaden när det gäller animerat växer.

Förhoppningsvis leder det till arga ungdomar som i sin tur leder till att påskynda att regimen i Kina störtas...
