Nyanko Scandal Factory proudly present our first female Japanese act with the venue Lakeside as our partner!

The Japanese cult band “Shonen Knife” will hold a concert at Lakeside, Haninge (Stockholm) on MAY 27th!

 

“When I finally got to see them live, I was transformed into a hysterical nine-year-old girl at a Beatles concert.” – Kurt Cobain (Nirvana)

 

Shonen Knife is an all-female Japanese pop punk rock band formed in Osaka in 1981. Their sound is influenced by 1970s punk rock and new wave bands such as The Ramones and Buzzcocks.
They have been active for soon 33 years and for 2014 they will do their 1000th concert and release their 20th album “Overdrive”.

De är så bra! Hade nöjet att få se dem spela i Göteborg för några år sedan. Ösigt och gulligt. Och de är verkligen trevliga mot fansen. Har spelschemat uppsatt på en vägg hemma. :)
